Excellent air and ferry service to and from the island make it easy to get from Hyannis or Boston’s Logan Airport in just an hour or less.  Other cities like New York, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia provide either direct service or service through Boston.

Corporate Retreats

Our superb locations offer you many choices for your stay: Jared Coffin House in the heart of Nantucket Town, The Cottages at the Boat Basin, just steps from town located in the marina (with kitchenettes), the White Elephant overlooking the harbor, and The Wauwinet, the only Relais & Châteaux property on island which sits majestically between the bay and the ocean.

Venues: White Elephant and The Wauwinet

The White Elephant can host magnificent weddings or intimate meetings during late spring, summer, and fall. At the White Elephant you’ll find The Ivory Room, our exquisite private dining room, can host 25 guests. The airy Sunroom is ideal for gatherings of 50.  And the awning-covered fully heated Sunroom Deck, with its stunning view of the harbor, can accommodate up to 125 people. Our Harborside Terrace offers a breathtaking setting for weddings, receptions, and other celebrations for groups of up to 180. 

The Wauwinet also offers the delightful TOPPER'S Dining Room which is available only for a whole-house buy as is the magnificent lawn overlooking the Bay. The lawn can be tented for 130 guests. Other beautiful venues are the intimate Sunroom for 16 guests, TOPPER'S Room for 28, and  the fully heated, awning-covered TOPPER'S DECK and outside Terrace for a gathering of 80 for a cocktail reception and 45 guests for sit-down..

Wedding Weekends

Both properties offer "Wedding Weekends" in early May and late October during which the hotels are available exclusively to wedding parties.  As part of our Wedding Weekends, wedding parties may reserve the entire facility so that family and guests may enjoy the utmost in privacy and the dedicated attention of our entire staff.
