Fall in Love with this Stunning Wauwinet Wedding

Nantucket Insider is head over heels for this romantic Wauwinet wedding captured by Jet Kaiser Films. We caught up with Jet for his sentiments on wedding videography and what makes shooting a wedding on Nantucket so special... NI: Tell us a little about Jet Kaiser Films JK: Jet Kaiser Films is a husband and wife video studio based in the American heartland of Indiana and we produce 20 handcrafted wedding films per year. While many of our weddings take place in the Indianapolis area, we are better known as the "traveling wedding filmmakers". NI: Did you experience Nantucket prior to this wedding? JK: As we first stepped foot on Nantucket Island for a wedding during the summer of 2013 we instantly knew there was something special about this place. So we couldn't have been more excited when we were invited back to document Tania + Mikhail's wedding at The Wauwinet this past October. NI: What factors can really make a wedding like this so ideal to capture on film? JK: This was a destination wedding for Tania + Mikhail whom currently reside in Chicago. Many of their family and friends were from all over the US as well as Russia. We were fortunate that they chose The Wauwinet as the perfect setting for their wedding weekend. It had plenty of beautiful outdoor space for their ceremony and and intimate indoor atmosphere for their reception. NI: How do you play the location into the story-telling of a couple's special day? JK: When we produce a wedding film we try our best to capture the locations that are involved. Nantucket is an environment that really simplifies our documenting duties. It seems that every direction you point your lens you discover a pristine treasure. Nantucket quickly became one of our favorite places to visit (and work) in all of the United States, we cannot wait for our next opportunity to return.
