Tie on a Pink Ribbon with White Elephant This Month
About 2 year(s) ago by Nantucket Island Resorts
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the White Elephant joins the nationwide initiative with the launch of a special "Pink Power Juice" offered at the Brant Point Grill. Made with fresh beets, apple, ginger, lemon and cucumber, all proceeds from the $11 juice will be donated to the Marla Ceely Lamb Fund. The local charity helps Nantucket residents suffering from cancer defray the costs of transportation and lodging for off-island treatment.
Guests can collect a pink ribbon at the front desk for a perfect photo opportunity with Trunket, the hotel's celebrated mascot who will also be dressed in pink. Each Instagram post with hashtag #ACKPinkElephant, as well as for every new "Like" the White Elephant and the White Elephant Village Facebook pages receive, Nantucket Island Resorts will donate $1. The goal is to raise $1,000 for the Marla Ceely Lamb Fund.
