Q: Can the Nantucket Island Resorts (NIR) Gift Card be redeemed at any NIR hotel, restaurant, spa, hotel shop or the marina?

A: A Nantucket Island Resorts Gift Card can be redeemed at these premier Nantucket Island Resorts hotels and the marina: The Wauwinet, White Elephant, White Elephant Village Residences & Inn, Jared Coffin House,
The Cottages, and Nantucket Boat Basin. May be applied to accommodations, dining, spa products and treatments, and hotel shops.

Q: In what denominations are Gift Cards sold?

A: The Nantucket Island Resorts Gift Card can be purchased on our website in any denomination ranging from U.S. $50 to U.S. $5,000. Gift Cards can also be purchased from Nantucket Island Resorts hotels and the marina in any amount desired from U.S. $50 up to U.S. $5,000.

Q: When will my credit card be charged?

A: When you order online, your credit card will be charged after you click "Confirm Order" in the checkout window of your completed order form. When you order in person at a Nantucket Island Resorts hotel or the marina, your credit card will be charged at the time of signature.

Q: How long does it take for a Gift Card to be delivered?

A: The delivery time will depend on the delivery service you choose. Within the U.S. you have three choices: U.P.S. Overnight service (for delivery in 1-2 business days, 9am-5pm delivery time), U.P.S. Second Day Air service (for delivery in 2-3 business days, 9am-5pm delivery time), and U.P.S. Ground service (for delivery in 5-7 business days, 9am-5am delivery time). Outside the U.S., all Gift Cards are delivered via expedited service (for delivery in 3-4 business days for most destinations). Due to customs and border regulations, Nantucket Island Resorts cannot guarantee international delivery times. If your order is received after 3:00pm it will be processed the following business day.

Q: How do I purchase more than one card?

A: You can use this website to make a purchase up to $5,000 online. Each online order can total up to $5,000. You can also visit our hotels or the marina, where our staff will be pleased to help you arrange gift card orders.

Q: Can Gift Cards be ordered by telephone?

A: Yes, please call 800.ISLANDS (800.475.2637) or 508.325.1000.

Q: Does the holder of a Gift Card have to be a Nantucket Island Resorts hotel/marina guest to use the card?

A: The cardholder can use the gift card for spa, restaurant or hotel gift shops even if he/she is not a hotel/resort guest.

Q: Does the full value of the Gift Card have to be redeemed at once?

A: Unlike a paper gift certificate, the Nantucket Island Resorts Gift Card is designed to carry a balance. Therefore, if a guest uses his/her Gift Card to pay for something of lesser value than the amount stored on the card, the amount of the purchase will be subtracted and the remaining balance will stay on the Gift Card for future use. If 90% or more of a Gift Card has been used or redeemed, you have the choice between receiving cash OR maintaining the remaining balance on the Gift Card. Please call us at 800.475.2637 to handle a remaining cash payment.

Q: Do Gift Cards have an expiry date?

A: Nantucket Island Resorts Gift Cards expire 10 years from the date of purchase, as set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Q: Can Gift Cards be redeemed for cash?

A: Nantucket Island Resorts Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash and must be used as payment at a Nantucket Island Resorts hotel, restaurant, spa, hotel shop or the marina.

Q: What happens if a Gift Card is lost or stolen?

A: Please call 800.ISLANDS (800.475.2637) or 508.325.1000 to cancel the lost or stolen card. A new card will be issued but it must be shipped to the same address as the original purchase.

Q: What happens if I find a Gift Card that I previously reported lost or stolen?

A: You can discard it. Once the balance has been frozen and transferred to a new Gift Card, the old card has no value and cannot be accepted for payment at a Nantucket Island Resorts hotel, restaurant, spa, hotel shop or the marina.

Q: How do I check my balance?

A: If you wish to inquire about the delivery status of your Gift Card order, our telephone service representatives would be pleased to help, Monday through Saturday 9am-10pm, and Sunday 9am-5pm, Eastern Standard Time. Please have your confirmation number at hand.
