This was a magnificent experience with our family! We will fill more rooms next time when our additional family members join us. Absolutely luxurious but totally relaxed!
Bellman/Valet Shawn, was absolutely wonderful. He was always cheerful and welcoming. He always remembered our names and wished us a nice day and asked if he could help to make our stay better. He was a highlight of our stay.
A sincere thank you to Monique, for the massage and fresh facial. Besides feeling fantastic, she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I appreciate the attention!
My mother and I came to Nantucket for the first time to celebrate her 70th birthday. Our stay was outstanding! From the time of our arrival, to the guidance and reminders of wonderful things to do, your entire staff was kind and professional. To name a few; Royale, Sheila, Tiffany and the Front Desk Managers. Thank you for making this once in a lifetime trip incredible.
The Wauwinet
We had a great all around stay at The Wauwinet. Every employee that we encountered was great. Topnotch service! The concierge went above and beyond. We were traveling with my parents and it is not easy for them to get around. It was their 50th anniversary and they were graciously upgraded to a cottage so that they did not have to use the stairs.
Thank you to Christina at The Wauwinet for her warm and welcoming smile. Damien for his fantastic story-telling. The pastry chef Gino, for the best butter croissants in the US and great family breakfasts. Marlon for showing us the best camera mode to take our sunset photos and for snapping a great family portrait of us. That photo will be enjoyed for years to come! To all at The Wauwinet- thank you!
To Hotel Management at The Wauwinet, During a recent stay at the hotel I was moved by the actions and compassion of your incredible staff. A woman frantically approached the front desk at The Wauwinet. She said her dog was drowning in the bay, and that the dog had latched on to a buoy and wouldn't let go. The front desk and bell team immediately jumped into action. The team arrived to the bayside beach to see a dog clinching onto a buoy, struggling to stay above water. Isaac and Marlon pulled the row boat to the shoreline. Marlon jumped into the boat along with the frantic dog owner. They began to row out. Due to the heavy winds and rough waters, Marlon was making little ground. They were running out of time. The dogs head was now submerged under water. Something had to be done. Isaac threw off his uniform and began to swim out to the buoy. The water was freezing. Just in the nick of time, Isaac reached the drowning Labrador. Marlon finally made it to the dog and he and Isaac were able to lift the shivering and frightened dog into the boat. They had saved his life. The owner was filled with joy. Isaac and Marlon were truly heroes that day.
Jared Coffin House
We have had a wonderful time here in Nantucket at the Jared Coffin House. The staff- (Amy, Sophia) have been so friendly and helpful and also caring. We felt that everyone at the Jared Coffin House took care of us. (We are in our 70's and need looking after) The best place to stay in Nantucket. Town is lovely! Desmond is great!
Love, love love The Jared Coffin House. Rooms were exceptional and service and staff second to none. Shout out to John for being so helpful and providing service above and beyond any hotel we have stayed at. We will be back!
